Eric Holder is a marketing communications professional with more than twenty years experience in digital media in both public sectors. Recently, Holder was keynote speaker on media trends for the Florida Public Relations Association, presenter at the Emory University for the Southeast Journalism Conference, instructor at the University of Georgia Journalism Academy and speaker at the American Medical Association’s 25th Annual Medical Communications Conference.

From 2001-2005 Holder directed communications for the Peabody Awards, electronic media's oldest prize. He also administered a $500,000 grant to promote health communications through documentary videos for producers. Holder was an active member of the National Association of Television Programming Executives, the National Association of Broadcasters, the Radio and Television News Directors Association, and the National Association of Medical Communicators.

Previously, Holder was field director for the American Heart Association and regional director for ASCAP where increased membership, advanced strategic partnerships and fund raising characterized his work. From 1994-1998, Holder served as communications manager for Athens, GA, and branded the city "The Best Seat in the South." There he managed media inquiries for their 1996 Olympic games, built the city's first web site and co-founded the Athens Music Festival, AthFest.

While attending the University of Georgia as an undergraduate, Holder was circulation manager and advertising representative at the Athens Banner Herald. Earlier, Holder co-founded Multi Media Marketing, Inc. in 1991, as an independent fund raising arm of the University of Georgia. At the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Holder completed extensive research and graduate course work in audience behavior and measurement.
