Sanjay Kapoor (IIT Alumnus) is an Indian-American engineer, entrepreneur and senior business leader.
Sanjay Kapoor is vice president of Patriot Programs for Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). He is responsible for Patriot Programs ensuring domestic and international alignment including execution and business development. His role enunciates years of international entrepreneurial, technical, financial, and business leadership experience.
Prior to this role, Sanjay Kapoor was vice president of Finance and IDS’s Chief Financial Officer from 2004 - 2008. Sanjay joined Raytheon from United Technologies Corporation (UTC), where he worked in assignments including UTC’s Pratt and Whitney Division, as chief financial officer and director and business manager since 1990.
Sanjay Kapoor has executed important assignments before joining UTC- in Commodore International, Ltd., Carmody Corporation from 1987 – 1989. He spent four years at SAE, S.p.A, Italy from 1985 – 1987 and as a marketing and sales engineer from 1983 – 1985 implementing numerous high-value engineering projects in South East Asia and the Middle East.
Sanjay earned his dual M.B.A degree in finance and entrepreneurial management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Technology, engineering degree, from the Indian Institute of Technology.
