I'm on Wikipedia mostly to feed an addiction to creating scalable vector graphic (svg) files. Past obsessions include: various air force roundels, flags, NATO military unit symbols, sports team logos, ribbons associated with medals and decorations, and roundels of Royal Air Force squadrons. My current obsession is charts detailing the year-to-year performance of various association football clubs in the U.K. The general tenor of the svg files is the use of minimal code, with the vast majority of the graphics created through direct text editing in Notepad. Adobe Illustrator is occasionally used, but only when absolutely necessary (it feels like an admission of defeat). Minimizing of the svg code always follows the Illustrator usage.

The latest interest is editing season pages for association football clubs in the U.K. from the Premier League to the Conference as well as MLS and USL clubs in the U.S.

My proudest moments on Wikipedia has been when some of my graphics appeared on Today's Featured Article for 4 March 2015, another on 16 November 2018, a third on 14 April 2019, a fourth on 26 May 2019, a fifth on 18 November 2019, and a sixth on 18 May 2021.
