Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D. (born January 28, 1962) is the current President of Saint Anselm College, a Catholic, Benedictine liberal arts school located in Manchester, New Hampshire, and he is the college's first lay president, succeeding former President Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B.. He grew up in Queens, New York, the son of Sal and Arlene DiSalvo. He was raised and educated as a Catholic.[1]. DiSalvo attended Fordham University, a Jesuit university, where he earned his B.S. in psychology, M.B.A. in marketing, and Ph.D. in educational leadership. In his first year as President of Saint Anselm, his focus was on partnerships to expand opportunities for students, to increase financial endowments, and to widen the recognition of the small college referred to as the Hilltop, nationally.[2] His last appointment before joining Saint Anselm in July 2013, was as president of Marian University of Wisconsin.[3]

Prior to Marian University, DiSalvo worked at secular non-profit organizations, including The Hopewell Group Inc., the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation, and Junior Achievement of New York Inc.[3]
