Dxf289 is the internet presence used by Dennis. It is used on most of his email acounts, on Xbox Live and on the Playstation Network and Nintendo Networks respectively. Dennis was born February 29, 1968 at 12:07 a.m. Dennis was named after the precocious comic strip character Dennis Mitchell of the Dennis the Menace comic strip. It is rumored that Dennis' mother was reading the strip when she went into labor. There is a running joke between Dennis and his mother, "You were that close to being named Marmaduke," she would often say, referring to the great dane who is also from comic strip fame.

Dennis was always "different" from the other children. This partially manifested itself in the guise of a peculiar allergy. Dennis discovered at a young age that he was allergic to marijuana which prevented him from partaking in many social events with his friends. He often took solace in reading, which garnered him nicknames such as "professor" or "doctor" In the third grade he became enamored with mythology, particularly Greek and Roman. He persued this interest in the World Book Encyclopedia and discovered that he had a general love of knowledge.

The nicknames of "professor" and "doctor" were quickly replaced by "nerd" and "geek." These deragatory terms, although hurtful became a badge of honor.

Dennis is the author of the Dead No More series of books. The books borrow heavily from aspects of his life.
