Idiotic Robots (or IR) is a comic Written by Luke Lasley as a way to entertain himself and his friends. It is currently spreading into several schools throughout the Nashville area

Creation edit

Although it is unclear just how Idiotic Robots came to be, this is the general story. One day creator Luke Lasley got bored and did a doodle of a floating, hot dog shaped creature that has been nick-named "That floating hot dog thing". Over several days this creature was given large eyes, two rockets under his belly, and a strange propeller-like growth on his back. Soon after Luke drew him on a sheet of paper and dubbed his creation "Buzz". Soon afterwards Luke created a second character named Bolt, and Idiotic Robots was born.

History edit

Idiotic Robots was soon made into a six page comedy, and at least 24 comics are planned. Of these 24 comics only eight have been made, and it is likely that the last sixteen will never be put into production. Although an edition featuring 3 of these comic was made, it was a disastrous failure and the project was abandoned and almost completely forgotten. However, the idea of a long Idiotic Robots stayed in Luke's head, and he is currently working on an extended edition of volume #1 Without a Parachute.

Popularity edit

The popularity of Idiotic Robots is small, as it is not produced on a massive scale, but it is thoroughly enjoyed by many of its readers, and is beginning to spread into other schools of the Nashville area. Also, similar comics, such as Retarded Robots, are being made in several schools across the area.

Main Characters edit

This is a list of the main characters from the comic Idiotic Robots.

Buzz edit

Buzz is the first character made for Idiotic Robots, and is considered to be the most intelligent. He has invented several things, including a weather controlling i-Pod and a trans-dimensional teleporter. He has hands, but they are concealed beneath a split rectangle that runs across his body, and they are rarely seen.

Bolt edit

Bolt is considered to be the head character for Idiotic Robots, and is almost always being blown to pieces. He is taller than most of the characters in the series, and can easily be an estimated 6 1/2 feet tall. Buzz and Bolt live in the same house, which appears to be a giant rock with a door and windows.

Crazy Dude edit

Crazy Dudes real name is, well, Crazy Dude. As his name implies, he is absolutely insane, but just as intelligent as Buzz. Infact, he is the only person who knows how to undo Buzz's weather i-Pod, and even Buzz doesn't know how to destroy it. His house is a huge castle with AC/DC written in the sky and "Highway to Hell" is constantly blasting on the radio.

Project E.X.T.E.R.M.I.N.A.T.E. edit

Project E.X.T.E.R.M.I.N.A.T.E., or P.E. for short, is the pinnacle of Crazy Dudes technological insanity. He is the most powerful thing in existence, and is armed with the most advanced weapons system in the world. Crazy Dude accidentally programs him to exterminate Bolt and all coffee after inviting Bolt over for coffee. When he finds Bolt he is (unfortunately) drinking coffee, and both are utterly terminated. He ultimately destroys himself by using his magnets to smash a coffee drinking Buzz into his body.

The Mysterious Floating Robot Hand of Death edit

The Mysterious Floating Robot Hand of Death is as its name implies. He does not exist in the original comics, but in the extended comics he kills everyone through some strange way and with no motivation. His origins and his dwellings are both unknown.

Minor Characters edit

This is a list of minor characters in Idiotic Robots

The Gay Dude edit

He appears only in the extended comic of Without a Parachute and is sent to his death in a skydiving accident. He is incredibly rich, and cares not if he dies if his money survives. Ironically, he dies by crashing into his own private bank, which explodes and destroys all of his money.

The Parachute Instructor edit

Another minor character seen only in Without a Parachute, he is the head instructor on skydiving lessons. He is killed before he can even jump out of the plane by The Mysterious Floating Robot Hand of Death, in which the plane he is on explodes.

George W. Bot edit

George W. Bot was originally going to appear in comic #17 Farenhieght 9/11/01, a parody of how worked up he gets about terrorists, but the comic was never made, so here's the basic plot: George W. Bot sees Bolt Explode from a distance, and mistakes the explosion as terrorist bombings. He soon declares war on Robot City, and runs the place to the ground. The last page shows Bolt saying, "Well, at least I've got my health." Just as he says this, Osama Bot Laden throws anthrax in his face, and he explodes, ending the comic.

Osama Bot Laden edit

Osama Bot Laden was supposed to make a cameo in the ill-fated comic Farenhieght 9/11/01, in which he was supposed to throw anthrax in Bolts face, making him explode, and thus ending the comic.

Buzz's Hands edit

Buzz's hands are often considered to be one of the strangest things in the entire series, due to their rare appearance. What's odd about them is how often he must use them, being an inventor; the fact that they seem to be tucked inside of rectangular boxes on the sides of his body; and the fact that they are the same size as Bolts hands, which make them nearly three times longer than his body. Many people were shocked when they saw his disproportionate hands hanging off of his body, and many people asked where they came from. Creator Luke Lasley replied by simply saying: "They were in the boxes on his sides, that's all." Even so, many people remain shocked whenever Buzz's hands make an appearance, simply because of how off-key they look on his body.

The World edit

Idiotic Robots takes place on a large peninsula in an unnamed world. This peninsula is home to 22 states and provinces, and here is a complete list of them. Many of them make fun of the names of real countries or events in popular culture.

Attic Zone edit

Attic Zone is the smallest state, and the only area smaller than it is the province of Pinland. In Attic Zone, you are forced into an old, creepy attic, in which a series of ironic events occur. It can there for be assumed that the Gay Dude died on its borders, due to his ironic death in the extended edition of Without a Parachute.

The Beach edit

The Beach is a large, scenic coastal beach with no strange events or landmarks. There for, it is an oddity that exceedes even Buzz's hands, as this is the only province like this.

Brokeback Land edit

Brokeback Land (AKA The Gay, Gay West), is the most western province in Idiotic Robots. Although it has no inhabitants, it has an exceedingly large population of rainbow colored gerbils, the color of the mesas is rainbow, and there is a large rainbow in the distance.

Capitol... edit

Capitol... is the capitol of all of the world Idiotic Robots is set in. Its capitol building is a large, dome-like structure reminicent of Moorish architecture. It is the center of all trade of i-Pods due to its close proximity to ...Of i-Podia.

The Desert of Dessert edit

The Desert of Dessert is the largest Province in the series, and is almost entirely barren. The only sign of respite is a gigantic piece of candy twice the size of Pinland. It never seems to run out, and 90% of the world's economy comes from the mining of this one ridiculously large piece of candy.

Gay Bay edit

Little is known about Gay Bay, other than it is just south of Moredoors.

The Haunted Zone edit

Little is known about The Haunted Zone, other than the fact that it is the dwelling place of Crazy Dude

... of i-Podia edit

... of i-Podia is the worlds leading producer of i-Pods, is the birthplace of Osama Bot Laden, and is shaped suspiciously like Iraq.

Ka-china edit

This land makes fun of China, and is named after the kachina, the flap of skin in-between your fingers.

Land of the Gays edit

Land of the Gays is a large area that has become its own designated country. It was founded by Emperor Queer Eye, who moved his people out of Robot City due to its huge amount of prejudice to gays under the rule of King Forthe Straight Guy, who tried to eradicate all gays from the face of the Earth. Having founded their own country in what was once a piece of the North Beach, King Forthe Straight Guy was content, and allowed them to continue their lives without fear. It is the cleanest place in the world, and all of its inhabitants are ridiculously rich. However, it is completely isolated from the rest of the world, as it has been ruled by Emperor Queer Eye for the past 100 years, and he still fears the outside world.

Moredoors edit

Ruled by the feared Dark Lord Floweron, Moredoors is the only other country in the world besides Land of the Gays. It is a large, oblong island to the north of the peninsula, and is inhabited by the dreaded Dorks, who use their mathematical equations to bore people to death.

The Mountains edit

A large mountain range, and the northern most region of the peninsula. All of the mountain tops are flat with a rock in the middle, due to the work of some long-lost civilization.

North Beach edit

Its only oddity is that due to the fact that it is sandwiched between Gay Bay and Land of the Gays, its population is 60% gay.

The Nudists Beach edit

Quite simply a beach for Nudists.

Pasture edit

The largest state, Pasture is a vast plain broken by three hills, at the feet of which is the house of Bolt and Buzz

Pinland edit

The smallest province, Pinland is a small island covered in pins.

Poleland edit

A vast plain broken by several poles that shoot out of the ground; it is believed to have been made by the same people who made The Mountains.

Robot City edit

The largest city in Idiotic Robots, most of the stories take place here.

South Beach Diet edit

A large beach where one is forced to eat from a giant muffin until he wieghs 2,000 lbs.

The Strippers Strip edit

A piece of land given to strippers to isolate them from society.

Unrapped edit

A land filled with old candy wrappers, it has been dubbed worthless and absolutely nothing lives there.

XXX edit

A land making fun of Rome, XXX is inhabited solely by 30 year-olds.

Trivia edit

  • In the original comic of Without a Parachute, while Buzz and Bolt are in Robot City, you can see R2-D2 and Marvin the Paranoid Android in the background.
  • In the comic Attack of the Giant Color Blob, there is a man drawing Idiot Robots in the beginning of the comic. This is creator Luke Lasley's interpretation of himself.
