David Resseguie is a member of the Computational Sciences and Engineering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. David has worked with ORNL since 2000 designing and implementing computer systems for the United States Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and other Federal Agencies. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, and a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee.

David's current research focus is on applying Web 2.0 and social networking principles to the design of information sharing systems. Other research interests include collaborative software interfaces, sketch- and touch-based computing, human-machine interaction, and standardized data formats for wide-area sensor network visualization. Outside the lab, David has served as an instructor for ITT Technical Institute and coaches a local FIRST Lego League robot competition team for middle school aged children.

I usually make minor edits in topic areas like those research areas listed above: fact checking, updating outdated external links, linking related content, etc.
