Beverly Jenkins (born Detroit) is a best-selling American author of historical and contemporary romance novels.

Biography

Jenkins has published more than 30 novels and has a particular interest in 19th century African-American life. [1] She was a 2013 NAACP Image Award nominee and has been voted one of the Top 50 Favorite African-American writers of the 20th century by the African American Literature Book Club. [2]

Jenkins was a Journalism and English Literature major at Michigan State University. She lives in Southeastern Michigan. [3]
