This is a list of official overseas visits and Commonwealth tours made by the Prince of Wales.

3-15 July 1970   Canada Visited Ottawa (3-4 July) before joining The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne for the visit to Manitoba to participate in the Centennial of the Northwest Territories and the 100th Anniversary of Manitoba's entry into the Confederation.[1]
16-18 July 1970   United States Accompanied by Princess Anne. Visited the White House in Washington, D.C., where he met President Nixon and his family. The Prince and Princess visited Camp David, met with two of the Apollo astronauts at the Smithsonian Institution‘s space museum. Prince Charles visited the Patuxent Wild Life Research Center in Maryland with David Eisenhower and attended a baseball game.[2]
20-30 April 1975   Canada Visited Ottawa.
13-26 July 1976   Canada Attended the XXI Olympiad in Montréal with The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Princess Anne, and her husband, Captain Mark Phillips.
5-9 July 1977   Canada Visited Alberta. Attended the celebrations of signing of Treaty 7 and Calgary stampede.
1-7 April 1979   Canada Visited Victoria, Yellowknife, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Toronto and Ottawa.
30 March-3 April 1980   Canada Visited Ottawa, Vancouver and Victoria as the President of International Council of United World College, visited Pearson College of the Pacific, and attended meetings of the Council. The Prince spent one night at Government House in Ottawa.
14 June-1 July 1983   Canada Accompanied by The Princess of Wales. Visited Halifax, Shelbourne, Saint John, Dalhousie, St-Andrews-by-the Sea, Dartmouth, St. John's, Carbonear, Harbour Grace, Charlottetown, Montague, Summerside. Visited Edmonton for Official opening of 1983 World Universities Games. Attended the celebration of the 400th anniversary of Sir Humphrey Gilbert having taken possession of Newfoundland.
23-29 October 1991   Canada Accompanied by The Princess of Wales. Visited Toronto, Sudbury, Niagara Falls, Kingston, Ottawa, Ontario.
23-29 April 1996   Canada Visited Ottawa, Toronto, Churchill, Winnipeg, Fredericton, Saint John, Miramichi City, Caraquet.
23-24 March 1998   Canada Accompanied by Prince William and Prince Harry. Visited Vancouver, Whisler.
25-30 April 2001   Canada Visited Regina, Moose Jaw, Assiniboia, Saskatoon, Whitehorse, Mayo.
2-10 November 2009   Canada Accompanied by The Duchess of Conrwall. First visit to Canada as a couple. They visited the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
20-23 May 2012   Canada Accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall. Visited Gagetown-Oromocto, Saint John, Toronto, Regina.
18-21 May 2014   Canada Accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall. Visited Halifax, Pictou, Charlottetown and Winnipeg.
29 June-1 July 2017   Canada Accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall. Visited Iqaluit, Canadian Forces Base Trenton and Wellington, Ottawa, and Gatineau.
