The 1st IFMAR 1:12 Electric Car World Championship (retrospectively 1982 IFMAR 1:12 Electric Track World Championship) was the inaugural edition of the biennial IFMAR 1:12 Electric Track World Championship for 1:12 scale electric powered radio-controlled pan cars with open top sportscar racer bodies to be run over [total] days in total on [start] through [end] [month].

The [championships] was organized by the organizer on behalf of [sanctioning body 2] and hosted by the [host club] in [town] in [town, country]. The [class] class was won by Americans Kent Clausen and Arturo Carbonell of Team Associated and Delta systems respectively.

The race was dominated by American drivers as Europeans were at the time, unaccustomed to the now standard 8 minutes race duration.[1]
