History

edit

The Palazzo Querini Papozze was built for the Querini family, who kept the palace until the nineteenth century. The building was originally built in the Byzantine style, it was renovated in Gothic and Renaissance times. On October 21, 1815, a fire partially destroyed the building. After this, a second palace was built, with a different appearance than the first one. [1]
