Don't-care optimization
Don't-care optimization is one way to reduce the switching activities of transistors inside an integrated circuit in order to achieve low power design.
Don't-care optimization identifies signals which are redundant and do not contribute to the final results of the switch. This results in a simplified design that contains less transistors but are able to achieve the same goal.
