Origin of the nickname edit

Originally, the author's nickname on some website was digory, on the basis of Digory being the name of the protagonist in one of the Narnia books. However, since Digory is a common name, the nickname turned out to be unavailable on some other site, and the author promptly changed it to digorydoo. While the new nickname may be regarded as a misspelling of Didgeridoo (the instrument), it should be noted that the author's intention was to provide a surname. Hence, the pronounciation of digorydoo and didgeridoo are not the same. The full name of the fictituous person was intended to be Digory Doolittle, Doolittle being also the surname of two main characters of Shaw's Pygmalion (play).
