I started editing Wikipedia after I attended the "Women Archaeologists editing event at the Petrie Museum". on International Women's Day in March 2014. Thank you to all involved.
I learned that over 90% of Wikipedia contributors are men so decided to do my bit to redress that balance. I mostly work on trying to improve (generally historical) biographical articles about women by expanding them, adding in-line citations, adding further reading, mending broken links and general copy editing.
I welcome all help and advice from experienced editors. For example, I feel I ought to be able to do an interwiki link for the "Women Archaeologists editing event at the Petrie Museum".
