Devin Almond (born July 17, 1995) graduated from California State University San Bernardino with his degree in English-Creative Writing with an overall GPA of 3.53 and a CSUSB GPA of 3.81 he graduated Cum Laude, and a member of the Sigma Tau Delta National English Honors Society.

He is the English Copy Writer/Editor for the German publishing company San Esprit Verlag, for their websites and novels in translation.

He was first published in the Pacific Review in June of 2017, with his debut trans narrative entitled Bathroom Laws, then in December of 2017 he self-published his first full-length collection of poetry entitled Dancing with Parvati. He was a lead editor in designing, editing, and publishing the 35th issue of the Pacific Review Literary Magazine, and the lead fiction editor of the 10th installation of Ghost Town Online Literary Magazine. He has read his original poetry while opening for authors Hari Alluri for his collection The Flayed City, and Jason Magabo Perez for his release of This is for the Mostless. He was an attendee of the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing: Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writer’s Conference in Tempe, Arizona in April of 2017.

He was also a program assistant in the Queer and Transgender Resource Center, there he sat as an open trans man on multiple panels held on-campus including the Trans Health Town Hall hosted by the California Equality Coalition, and a panel hosted by graduate professor Manijeh Badiee. He led the programming on campus for the Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil, and the on-going discussion days for Trans Talk Tuesday.

He is an intern/volunteer at the Inlandia Institute and works with Cati Porter promoting their current authors, previous winners of the Hillary Gravendyk Prize.

He is currently engaged in the on-going independent project of collecting, editing, and publishing a collection of trans narratives entitled The Albatross Anthology.

On the weekends, in the spring, he is a bar-back at the Southern California Renaissance and Pleasure Faire in Irwindale, California.
