Hi, Im Davon Collins and I use Wikipedia for almost everything.

I am currently a senior multimedia major at The University of the Arts located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During my years studying at The University of the Arts, I began to have a great interest in becoming a community server. I have worked with a number of non-profit organizations in and around center city Philadelphia before co-creating 3 of my own.

Cafe' Series- A open mic inspired program that allows students in and around the University of the Arts Campus to showcase their vocal, spoken word, poetry, or rapping abilities. A 3 hour show where 2 hours of the show is dedicated to the open mic portion and an hour is given to a featured artist. This artist is usually an up and coming artist in the Philadelphia area.

Eclectic Work- Is a 1 night dance concert that is a collaboration between Najee Reed, New Freedom Theatre and myself. This dance concert allow the middle school and high school students of the New Freedom Theatre and The University of the Arts to grace the stage simultaneously.

Shades of Awareness- Is an annual event that is presented through a non-profit organization, PSPE (peer support, peer education), created my myself and 2 other students at the University of the Arts. The event has a benefit format where individuals in the performing arts field are granted the chance to perform to a room full of people. The main goal of the event is to raise money to support an organization who's main goal is to fight against and prevent HIV/AIDS.
