David Bruce Kelly ( born 1967) also known as “DK” is an insurance company representative who has always strived to help those in need. Born in the mud on the bayous of the Mississippi, he developed a knack for making people smile and cringe. His flair for costuming is unrivaled, as is his love of those he calls friends and family.

Quoting Stanard Ridgway,

“I like to know what I’m doing when I do it, and I do what I’m doing, cuz I dont know what to do, when I’m not doing it.”

A vocalist and somewhat of an accomplished keyboard player in a band called LAZLO from Richmond Virginia, he was an incredibly fast runner in his youth, having graduated from Kiski Preparatory School accomplishing the times of 49.8 in the 400 meter run; 1:57.1- 800 meter run, and a time of 39.8 in the intermediate hurdles- which still holds the school record today, established in 1987.

He went on to become DJ of the year in 1992 from his Alma Mater of East Carolina University, where he was known as “Yellowman” to his listeners on WZMB.

An ultimate frisbee player, who competed collegiately from 1989 to 1992, he helped to assist the future collegiate champions in their achievement of attaining back to back college national championships in 94-95, as a former member of the Irates. He also went on to compete with HOSS: a Masters Club team based out of Wilmington North Carolina, who competed from 2000-2004, and having finished 7th in the nation in their final year of existence.

His knack for making people laugh, is on parallel with his ability to drink, as an Irish man. His storytelling was gifted from his father; a 3rd generational Paddy, from the Counties of Cork and Gallway.

He is currently thriving and enjoying life.
