Samir Becic (born July 4, 1976) in Ključ, Una-Sana Canton, is an internationally recognized radio-show host and personal trainer and the founder of “Health Fitness Revolution” based in Houston, Texas.[1][2] Becic developed the ReSync Method, an alternative way of exercising without gym machines or in fitness centers.[3][4] [5] According to Christian Today Becic was name the top fitness trainer in the world four times.[6]
Biography
editBecic was born in Kjluc, Bosnia, on July 4, 1976.[7] He is a health and fitness expert and martial arts athlete who has designed and developed the Becicmethod.[8] The Becicmethod is a functional training method that uses the body’s resistance to develop strength. Becic has over 20 years of experience as a martial arts trainer and 16 years’ experience as a fitness trainer.[9][10]
Becic left his home country during his first year of high school to move to Zagreb where he enrolled in a local high school and completed his first year with the help of writer, Enes Kisevic. After Croatia, Becic moved to Austria with his family. He lost most of his family in the early 1990s in Bosnian Civil War, which is when he and his remaining relatives fled to Germany. He remained in Germany until 2000 when he moved to the United States.
Career
editBecic gained the reputation of a prominent fitness trainer after his involvement with training and martial arts for Bally Total Fitness.[8] Becic went on to create ReSync, a program that teaches people old-fashioned exercise and nutritious living. He works with both corporate and private clients. He was labelled the best fitness trainer on several state, national, and international lists. He further heads up Health Fitness Revolution which is dedicated to helping people in the United States get healthier.[11]
Becic’s company deals with a broad range of healthy lifestyle and fitness components and he works with schools, corporations, prisons, non-profit organizations, and prisons, introducing fitness and nutrition programs.[12] He consults with politicians that include Justin Trudeau and Felipe VI on fitness.[13]
He has served as a fitness consultant in 2002 for the fight against obesity in Houston in conjunction with Mayor Lee Brown, leading with the Fitness Task Force Kick-Off Program.[8]
Becic regularly speaks for corporate seminars and has been published in the book, “Breakin’ Down the Barriers.” He also features in a number of media and TV outlets. Samir Becic serves as fitness director for New Life Source and is the CEO of Eurofit, which employs 40 personal trainers.[8][1]
Becic hosts a local Houston radio program on FM station KSBJ 89.3 to provide health and fitness advice.[2] He teaches fitness classes at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church.[14] Becic is also a judge for the Kick Start Kids Program.[1]
