DARREN FERRIS (Born Dec 10, 1962) in Lampman, Saskatchewan. Canada) is an NHLPA certified agent since 1994 and currently is President of Definitive Hockey Group representing elite NHL stars such as Sam Bennett. Darren worked with hockey legend Bobby Orr for over 17 years as an NHLPA certified agent with The Orr Hockey Group and with Newport Sports Group prior to that.
Darren played minor hockey in Mississauga and coached in minor hockey in Mississauga and Junior hockey in Oakville with the Oakville Blades.
Darren has been an NHLPA certified agent and worked with many elite NHL players since 1994.
Darren has worked with three of four players to enter the OHL to play as an underage exceptional player. Those players are Jason Spezza, Aaron Ekblad, and Connor McDavid.
