In the spirit of WikiProject TypoScan which is currently inactive, I've created several lists of articles containing typos discovered by scanning the latest database dump (2014-05-02). These pages can be loaded into AWB and fixed with the regex typo fixing feature.
In an attempt to keep the work manageable, the list is split into pages which each start with ~1000 potentially-typoed articles. The lists have not been "pre-parsed" or otherwise re-checked. To avoid people repeating work, please mark {{doing}} and your signature in the status column below as you claim a page to work on. When you've done all that you feel like doing from that page, or you finish the page, please remove the articles you've completed from the list subpage[note 1] and replace the {{doing}} template and your sig with "not in use".

- Please do not just put {{done}} without also updating the actual typo list page. - ^ This should be fairly simple. When you stop AWB, note which article is at the top of the remaining list in AWB (i.e. the one that would have been next if you kept working). Then use your browser to edit the page you claimed and select/delete everything up to but not including the "next" article, and save the page. Alternatively, if you pre-parsed your list, save the remaining list to a text file, then copy/paste the resulting markup into the page, replacing the existing contents.
