I am a PhD researcher in creative writing at the university of Sheffield, with a Bachelors Honours degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, and a Masters in Creative Writing both from Bangor University. I was born in Whyalla, South Australia, before moving back to live in Scunthorpe, England from the age of 6 months. He has since moved to Sheffield where he researchers contemporary Gothic and post-postmodern literature.

I'm a life long fan of all things metafictional. stemming from an early reading of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five, which I presented on at a metamodern conference in Glasgow.
