I learned from the Dub Warrior Timi Tanzania, as his drummer for for years! i started with Lines of oppression Reagae band, with Zeke Zagar ,son of Famous artist ,Isaiah Zagar, as a percussionist ,slash political poet, we did monster shows, and killer partys, with bands like, the goats, and shelter, x youth of today, then came DUB WARRIOR! like a dread, lock boot camp I got,to play on songs like ganja dub and no guns with mad amount of musicians like ron, on bass burt cooper, chuck treece,Troi Baskette, on saxophone Aldo Disteffano, and Carlos Orapeza, on guitar Owen Brown on violin stahl ,Troy Williams and many more I got to open for bands like Burning spear, Black uhuru, Lucky dube, Krs1, the Last poets, Jah Levi ,Ras Pidow, Dub syndicate, and many more !then I heard Trip hop and soon came Dub shido! dub trip hop a 3 piece with sean day and aldo dub step, we got a female singer and became saigon slimm, short for sean, laurie, ihba, and mike!that fell off saigon grew strong with out me! and i still supported it! was good to see my freind take many beatings and rise above all obstacles! so i started sirious beta with a girl freind ! and her freind sara , hung out with a couple of creepy producer types. who were so hungry for a gorrilla style beating! maybe still today ! right in the eye!so a few years later i started the sinnister Mr Ihba a Danchall reagae based punk rock attitude High Karate type shit with Dj Bangladesh solo and herb from fat head and Anam! I open for 2 Live crew last year !i stopped doing shows and went home to create DUBB SMITH!!!!!!!!DUBB SMITH IS MY ULTIMATE SOLO PROJECT taking 70's style dub 80's synth and 90's testosterone and darkness with new millinnium flavor to step up and share my love of music with all irie fan base Peace and lovetheDUBB SMITH.,.,.,.,.
