Nino Chkheidze (born October 25, 1984, in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a Georgian singer and songwritter who debuted with her first album in 2006. Nino Chkheidze's repertoire consists of city folklore, ethno and pop-music elements.
Biography
editNino Chkheidze was born 1981 june 6, in city Tbilisi , country Georgia. her first song was „ჩემი გული შენია“("Chemi guli shenia") written by მაცაცო სეფისკვერაძე(matsatso sefiskveradze). In 2005 year nino chkheidze started recording popular georgian folklore songs, one of her first most popular songs were „ჩემი გმირი გიწოდე“("chemi gmiri gitsode") and „წაღვერი და თბილისი “ both by მარეხ გოძიაშვილი(marekh goziashvili).[2] [3]
In 2006 was released Nino Chkheidze's first album which consisted of 12 old classical Georgian songs. In 2007 was released her second album with title "უშენოდ"("ushenod"). later on she made her first official music video on song with same title "ushenod" which was directed by Beso Solomonashvili and zviad alkhanaidze. In 2008 were 2 new albums with titles „ვიცი გიყვარვარ“ ("vitsi gikvarvar") and „საუკეთესო სიმღერების კრებული“("collection of best songs"). In 2008 she also recorded 2 new official music videos with titles „სანთელივით დავდნები“("santelivit davdnebi") and „ვიცი გიყვარვარ“("vici gikvarvar") which were directed by Ramaz Chachanidze. in 2008 she also opened her own voice recording studio with name "Nio Studio". in 2009 she released 2 new albums with titles „5“ and „karaoke“.[3] In 2010 was released album „გამახარე“(gamakhare).In 2011 was released album „მიყვარხარ ცამდე“("tsamde mikvarkhar").In 2011 she recorded new music video with კაბუ in duet with title „მიყვარხარ ცამდე“("mikvarkhar tsamde") which was directed by Zura Menteshashvili.In 2012 she was invited by „ Imedi TV “ as one of the judges in mega-project „The Voice Of Georgia“. In 2013 was released album „ნინო ჩხეიძე“(Nino Chkheidze). 2014-2017 Nino Chkheidze was author of musical TV project საქართველოს ფანოღი. In 2015 was released album „ნინო ჩხეიძე mp3“("Nino Chkheidze mp3") which consisted of her all time best songs. In 2015 was released album „ნინო ჩხეიძე დუეტები“ (Nino Chkheidze duets")which consisted of duet songs. In 2016 was released album „ყველაფერი ხდება“("kvelaferi khdeba"). In 2016 she established her own brand with name "NIO" and she is manufacturing her own designed hats. In 2017 was released album „ნინო ჩხეიძე“("Nino Chkheidze"). In 2018 she participated in TV project „ცეკვავენ ვარსკვლავები“, In 2018 She formed her own musical band with name "NIO band" .[3]
She has husband george korakhashvili and daughter mariam korakhashvili.[2] [3]
