About Me

HELLO! I'm a guy who is very happy to be a member of and contributor to the Wikipedia community. I am currently a college student, majoring in computer science (hoping to gravitate more closely to fields like computer / electrical engineering). I have been writing Java since before I went to high school, and would like to consider myself a master of the language; I've also got significant understanding and experience of C, C++, and ARM, all of which I like for their low-level functionality that offers the most insight into the actual nuts and bolts of the computer itself. In my spare time I love to program my own little projects, ranging from video games (which I never finish making) to personal utilities (which I sometimes finish making).

I've been an ardent user of Wikipedia for as long as I can remember and have been a contributor for a significant fraction of my life now. I like to think of this place as the bastion of my faith in humanity; like any place, it has its problems - vandals, ideological crusaders, and the such - but this place has had a significant and overall positive effect on me as a person and as a member of the human race. When I get curious, I absolutely love running up on any manner of topics on this virtually infinite repository of free and (typically) reliable information.
