An electric motor assisted bicycle is a type of "motorized bicycle." It utilizes two types of propulsion systems and is considered a hybrid vehicle. It is primarily propulsed by human "pedal power" (seehuman powered vehicle). The second propulsion system is the electric motor(see electric vehicle's).
