Article review edit

I've been interested in the cooking for several years. I loved cooking with my mom by creating a new menu and mixing new ingredient. After I learned how to cook, I started to cook for my family every meal as I can. It has been three years already that I cook for my family. I visited the cooking page on Wikipedia and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: its lack of information, unreliable source, and citation is an error.

Lack of information edit

I've been noticed that the cooking page on the Wikipedia doesn't give enough information. When I was reading the article the first part that was interested me the most is the technique how to cook. I saw many methods that, but the writer missing some of the methods such as shallow frying. Moreover, the other information that the writer didn't mention is the technique of how to cooking in a safety way. For example, how to grilling in safety, smoking, and pit roasting.

Unreliable source edit

When I was reading the page, I noticed that it has too many citations. So, I looked up to reference, and I found some of the websites that are not reliable. The part that talks about the scientific aspect, the author provide with the source that cannot rely on. The article should use an overhaul with a more reliable source. In addition, there is an explanation of the chemical process of cooking and the reference links to a combination program website.

Citation edit

In the Wikipedia article of cooking, the author mentions the effects on nutritional content of food. However, the writer fails to reference to pull out the information. The link was an error and are a dead link.

Summary edit

Overall, I would the article as okay. Since this article is about the preparation of food, and it is well scripted with unbiased factual and useful information such as the introduction of history and various type of ingredient. Unfortunately, however, there is some improper picture and also the author provides an unreliable source that we cannot trust. Also, when you look at the information, you saw a lot of references that you think you trust with but it turn out as an unreliable, dead link, and error website.
