Der Tatortreiniger ist eine deutsche Comedy-Fernsehserie des Norddeutschen Rundfunks (NDR) mit Bjarne Mädel. Regie führte Arne Feldhusen und die Drehbücher stammen von Mizzi Meyer. Die Serie wurde von 2011 bis 2018 ausgestrahlt, in dieser Zeit entstanden sieben Staffeln und 31 Folgen.

The Crime scene cleaner(German:"Der Tatortreiniger") is a German Comedy TV show broadcast by the NDR("Norddeutscher Rundfunk", German public radio and television broadcaster),starring actor Bjarne Mädel. It was directed by Arne Feldhusen and written by Mizzi Meyer. The show was broadcast from 2011 until 2018, during that time they aired seven Seasons and 31 Episodes.

Bjarne Mädel spielt den Tatortreiniger Heiko „Schotty“ Schotte, der in Hamburg und Umgebung als Gebäudereiniger (mit Spezialisierung zum Tatortreiniger) Spuren des Ablebens von Menschen an Tatorten beseitigt. Es handelt sich nicht um eine Krimiserie,[1] vielmehr wird die Arbeit des Tatortreinigers auf humorvolle Weise vorgeführt. Dabei spielen die Kriminalfälle nur eine untergeordnete Rolle. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf kammerspielartigen Szenen.[1]

Diese sind mit viel Situationskomik garniert, die sich daraus ergibt, dass Schotty auf für ihn völlig fremde Hinterbliebene und Bekannte der Mordopfer (sowie in einigen Folgen auch die Geister der Opfer selbst) trifft.[2]

In mehreren Folgen wird Schottys Verbundenheit mit dem Hamburger SV zumindest erwähnt, teilweise auch detaillierter thematisiert.

Bjarne Mädel plays the crime scene cleaner Heiko "Schotty" Schotte. He works as a facility cleaner (specialized on crime scenes) whose job it is to remove the last traces of the living, in and around Hamburg. It is not a crime thriller nor detective story, it rather takes a closer look at the work of the crime scene cleaner in a humours way, where as the criminal cases have a rather subordinate importance. The main focus is laid on scenes which mirror the style of a chamber play. Those scenes are garnished with a lot situational humour, which results from "Schottys" interaction with the spouses, acquaintances of the victim or in one case even with the ghost of the one victim. In multiple episodes "Schotty's" deep connection to the soccer team SV Hamburg is either briefly mentioned, or partially even becomes the in-depth subject of the conversation.

Nachdem die Video-on-Demand-Rechte bereits im Herbst 2013 nach Frankreich an Canal+ verkauft wurden, verkaufte Studio Hamburg im Dezember 2013 die Rechte für die Ausstrahlung und DVD-Veröffentlichung der Fernsehserie in den USA an den US-amerikanischen Sender MHz Network.[3] Der Sender strahlt Staffel 1 und 2 der Serie seit dem 5. Dezember 2014 als Crime Scene Cleaner im deutschen Originalton mit englischen Untertiteln aus.[4] Die Folgen 1 bis 10 wurden am 27. Januar 2015 auf DVD veröffentlicht.[5]

After the Video-on-Demand rights were already sold to Canal+ in France in the fall of 2013, the Studio Hamburg sold the right for broadcasting and DVD-Releases to the American television station MHz Network. Since December 5, 2014, the network aired season 1 and 2 of the show under the title "Crime Scene Cleaner" in the original German soundtrack with English subtitles. The episodes 1 until 10 were released on DVD in January 27, 2015.

Die DVD zur ersten Staffel der Fernsehserie wurde am 9. März 2012 veröffentlicht.[26] Am 7. Juni 2013 wurden sowohl die DVD zur zweiten Staffel, sowie eine Blu-ray-Komplettbox mit den beiden ersten Staffeln veröffentlicht.[27] Am 10. Oktober 2014 erschien die dritte Staffel auf DVD, welche die noch nicht ausgestrahlten Episoden enthielt. Am 13. März 2015 wurde die vierte Staffel veröffentlicht, sowie eine limitierte Sammlerausgabe namens Böse Dose, die alle bisher ausgestrahlten Episoden auf drei Blu-ray Discs enthält. Die fünfte Staffel wurde am 11. März 2016 veröffentlicht.[28] Am 13. Oktober 2017 erschien Staffel 6 auf DVD und Blu-ray.Die Serie ist auch auf verschiedenen Video-on-Demand-Plattformen wie Amazon Video, Maxdome, Netflix, Watchever, Google Play und iTunes verfügbar.

The first season of the TV-Show was released on DVD on March 9th 2012.[26] On the 7th of June 2013, the DVD of the second season as well as the complete Blu-ray Edition, containing the first two seasons, were released. On the 10th of October 2014 the DVD of the third season was released, which contained the net yet aired episodes. On the 13th of march 2015 the fourth season was released as well as the limited collectors edition "Böse Dose"(English: Evil Can), which contains all episodes which were aired by then on three Blu-ray discs. The fifth season was released in march 11th 2016.[28] On the 13th October 2017, the sixth season appeared on the DVD and Blu-ray. The show is also available on multiple Video-on-Demand-Platforms like AmazonVideo, Maxdome, Netflix, Watchever, Google Play and Tunes.
