Rebecca Dawn Kaplan (born September 17, 1970) is a Canadian-born American attorney and politician who has served as an at-large member of the Oakland City Council since 2009 and as vice mayor since 2021. Kaplan was the first openly LGBTQ+ member of the Oakland City Council. She is a member of the Democratic Party.
