Notes

edit

The principal basics behind business writing are to make your writing purposeful, economical, and reader-oriented as well as to seek expression of ideas as opposed to impressing the audience. The writer should aim to attract their reader’s attention by presenting the information through the reader’s perspectives. The information being presented should be clear, concise and suggest solutions to the existing problems. Aside from informing and persuading the audience, it is crucially important to understand the reader’s perspective. The proper use of language is the main foundation for an excellent business writer. It is advised to avoid gender, racial, ethnic, age and disability bias throughout your writing. A professional business writer should be able to present their information in a polite and simplified manner.
