//eabh// (//The European Association for Banking and Financial History e.V.//) //eabh// (short for: //The European Association for Banking an Financial History e.V//) is a non-profit Association founded in December 1990 by the German historian and former head archivist of Deutsche Bank, Manfred Pohl. //eabh// is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The Association is concerned with the promotion of banking archives and financial history - a subject that was of particular interest in Germany in the 1990s when financial institutions started to investigate into their Holocaust history. The most renown works of the time were Gerald Feldman's history of Deutsche Bank and Harold James' Book about the Nazi Dictatorship and Deutsche Bank. These studies laid ground work for many of the European financial institutions historical processing after World War II. Gerald D. Feldman was the chairman of the Academic Council of //eabh// from (from when?) and Harold James chairs the Association's academic work since 2010 (???) ...
