I have been editing and creating Wikipedia pages and stubs since 2015. Basically; I utilize this site normally for reference purposes and my edits are a way of giving back to the Wikipedia community. I treasure honesty, objectivity and transparency as the cornerstone to ethical reporting, updating and informing principles.

WIKIPEDIA INTERESTS

edit
  • I like to add value and substances to articles on topics and issues that I am more than familiar with, for example in: Business & Technology, Finance, Economy, Politics, Journalism, Natural and Pure & Applied Science, Entrepreneurship and Startup, The Caribbean Basin, The Environment, Oceanology, Recyclable Energy and anything to do with the Bahamas, Ethical Campaigning and Election.
  • Articles that are poorly written ie with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes I try to remedy those often found copyediting articles to fix the problems.
  • I believe that Wikipedia is an invaluable resource cooperative community and I dislike those whom attempt to reduce its value for selfish or paid reasons thereby abusing and vandalizing the very good nature and intent with which Wikipedia was created. I denounce vandalism and intimidation whenever I may see it functioning, often with the assistance of Twinkle.
  • I believe short descriptions are helpful, and actively add them to articles in my areas of interest.

EDITING PHILOSOPHY

edit
  • I hold the philosophy of "Peace not War"!
  • I hold the believe in the 3 C's of Communication, Co-operation and Consensus will always produce a better resolve than conflict, and like some of my colleagues; I do not take offense even if consensus in a discussion contra-intuitive to mines. Life goes on!
  • I hold the believe that; my edits have NO more validity than those of any other editor - (neither more in value; but definitely not less)! If a user has a difference of perspective to mine own, that is perfectly okay with me. The old cliché; "let us agree to disagree" is my mantra, but please understand that the prime condition is that your perspective should be substantiated with facts, logic and reason and most importantly it should be supported with a credible source. So; that means, rarely are you going to see that I get involved in Edit Wars; unless obvious abuse and vandalism is apparent.
  • I have the belief that if you disagree with an edit I have made, please talk to me about it instead of just reverting. It's our community and we should work on making it won't bite!
