About Me

edit

I was born in Marietta, Ga and graduated from Lassiter High School in 2010, and am currently a student a Georgia Southern. I played baseball at Lassiter for four years and we made it to the state finals my senior year and lost to the Harrison Hoyas. I received the hope scholarship and wish to obtain that throughout my time at Georgia Southern because if I don't my parents will disown me. My major is business management, and I plan to receive a degree in that department while I am here in Statesboro. I am also thinking about minoring in some type of international business because I would love to travel around the world while on the job. Which is also why I really want to travel abroad to take classes in some unfamiliar surroundings.

My Relationship With Technology

edit

I am going to be using a Mac for the most part, while editing things on Wikipedia. I have some Macintosh versions of the Microsoft hardware like Pages, Numbers, etc. for all you Mac users. However, I will mostly use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and am pretty acquainted to the computer in general. I use Word's spelling and grammar to make most of the edits on Wikipedia and I also use knowledge that I have gained over the years. Also, instead of using Internet Explorer I use Safari which is basically the same thing but "mac-proofed".

Pages Contributed To

edit
  • Lassiter High School
  • Facebook
  • Baseball
  • Ernest Hemmingway
  • Jack the Ripper
  • Diesel Engine
  • Playing Card

Those are all the titles to the articles that I have edit since I have been on Wikipedia. I usually like to edit things that have to do with me, but sometimes I just like to edit some featured articles. In high school, we were blocked from using Wikipedia, so I am fairly new to Wikipedia. Although, I have used Wikipedia for receiving information but never really contributed to it before this year. I plan to create a Wikipedia page about East Cobb Baseball in the very short future. East Cobb is an area that I am very familiar with because it is close to where I have lived most of my life.

Language

edit

This user's main language is English and has experienced some Spanish. I took three years of Spanish in high school, but definitely am not familiar enough with it to use the Spanish version of Wikipedia. The user also did a construction job where he got the chance to interact with some Hispanic people, but that unfortunately does not qualify yet again.
