Some of you are aware of my past involvement in Powerboat Racing and most recently with Team Endeavour Racing.
Currently we are preparing for an attempt at the world record for a boat powered by electricity. The project is still in its infancy, and we are looking for sponsors to help us achieve this goal.
We already have been offered the use a 3-point hydro plane drag boat by Gordon Cook racing this is a fabulous opportunity to witch we are very great full. This boat is similar to Donald Campbell’s boat K7 Blue Bird that made history in the Lake District on Coniston waters. The boat we have is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 250 MPH. The record at the moment is set at 88.61mph set by Jaguar Land Rover so the boat we are using has the capability of far exceeding this. We will aim to beat the 150 MPH barrier this will firmly putting us in the record books.
