2.1 Name pronounciation edit

What are the names? I haven't been able to really find any place where their names are pronounced exactly, but I know how to pronounce most of them (including injured students) just from listening to media when doing the research, and from everyday talk. The only one I'm sure I don't know is Curnow.. (Kur - now, or kur - know, can't tell) but the others I might be able to help you with. -- PRueda29 / Ptalk29 / Pcontribs29 09:50, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Media aren't always right, but are MUCH better than a blind guess. --Below: bold = the "hard" name. Italics: = my best guess.

   * Daniel Rohrbough (Roar-baw, as in paw)
   * Anne-Marie Hochhalter Hock-Halter?? (Yup)
   * Patti Nielson Neel-sun?? (I mostly hear Neel-sun, but sometimes they say Neel-sen, I believe it's sun)
   * Makai Hall Muh-KYE (rhymes with 'eye')?? (I've googled it, and it's a hawaiian name, all the sites agree it is Mack-Eye)
   * Steven Curnow got you note. Have done KER-now, I think.
   * Kasey Ruegsegger can't remember how did this one. KAY-see REGG-suh-guhr, I think (It's Rug-Seg-er)
   * Cassie Bernall BurNALL?? (Pretty Popular one)
   * Isaiah Shoels SHOALS?? (I remember this name from a CNN interview, it's correct)
   * Lisa Kreutz (I've mostly heard Krutz, but one source said Kroytz, majority rules)
   * Val Schnurr Shnurr (Rhymes with "cur")?? (Yup)
   * Mark Kintgen KINT-gin (G as in 'begin')?? (I always say Kint-jen, but I've never heard this name said outloud)
   * Nicole Nowlen Nolan?? (Yup)
   * Jeanna Park Gina?? (This one's Jenna)
   * Daniel Mauser MOW zur?? (OW as in 'owl')?? (right)
   * Corey Depooter duh POOTUR?? (Yes)
   * Dylan Klebold' KLEE-b'ld?? (Of course, this name is infamous)

That's all of them, I think. I'm assuming all the others are pronounced the way most Americans with the same names pronounce them. Ckamaeleon 11:04, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

I always found it interesting that so many of the victims had strange names. As for the progress, take as long as you need with classes, that's more important after all, so don't worry. -- PRueda29 / Ptalk29 / Pcontribs29 13:39, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
