MACH Energy

edit

MACH Energy is a US-based provider of energy management software headquartered in Oakland, CA. MACH's cloud-based software platform uses either real-time or batch data from utility meters, submeters, weather trends and nearby buildings to analyze building energy performance, and identify savings opportunities through operational improvements. The software works in tandem with building automation systems, or independently. Both desktop and mobile versions aim to reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency through energy use metrics and benchmarking.

An interview in Automated Buildings reports that on average, buildings using their software benefit from savings of $24,000 and an Energy Star score increase of 11 points.15l

In 2014, Washington DC-based building management company Akridge saw a 2 percent reduction in energy consumption across 15 buildings after employing MACH's

software.16l Notable buildings in MACH's portfolio include the World Financial Center, now renamed Brookfield Place (New York City), the San Francisco Ferry Building and DC's Willard Hotel.17]
