To Start Off...

Hi, my name is Cimera Wilson also known as Cime and I am a Wikipedia User. "Hi, Cimera"

On that note, I am a spontaneous FreshWoman enrolled into Georgia Southern University. I graduate from Berkmar High School in Lilburn, Georgia (Northside of Atlanta). My current major at GSU is Sport Management with minor in business. Although my college is known for it's wild parties, I have surprisingly yet to party, smoke, or drink. Not that I am planning on it. I was well educated graduating with a GPA of 3.333. One day I will publish a poetry book and conquer the world! But before that I will make this profile for my English class.

My Best Friend

I have a best friend who has been when through it all, since 9/11, and way before Hurricane Katrina. Technology has been my best friend since 2001 and I am proud to embrace our friendship. I don't want to call myself a "Computer Wiz", but I am well-rounded when it comes to working a computer. Technology and I have others who hang in our crew. A few to say would be Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Window Live Movie Maker. Too many others to name, so I'll just let your mind indulge in those few. Throughout my short life, I have fixed at least three computers from viruses, internet struggles, and more. I would rather text/tweet my life away then send a letter in the mail, unless it's to my great great aunt all the way in Michigan. Google and I are basically one. My favorite phrase is "Just goggle it".

Thoughts toward Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a great source of finding out important or random information creditable and non-creditable to one's life. It has it's pros and cons. Wikipedia has well educated users creating and editing articles everyday; on the other hand, Wikipedia has idiots who unnecessarily edit articles toward their own opinion and not truth. For that I understand why some professors do not stand for Wikipedia usage as citation on an important information. If I were a professor or high school teacher, I would definitely allow my students to use Wikipedia for anything. I tend to google anything I am not knowledgeable of, and every time I am some how lead to Wikipedia for important truth. I am proud to say I am Wikipedia user in both senses of the word "user".

As you know, My name is Cimera Wilson. I was born in Flint, Michigan, and I spent the first nine years of my life there. At age nine, I discovered Atlanta, Georgia from a family visitation. During this visitation,I fell in love with Georgia's adventures, atmosphere, and sight-seeing. I moved here a few months before my mom and my older sister. My hometown is the number one crime city in America, so it was great to break free of that life and atmosphere. Others may say I am very talented for my vocal abilities. I also believe in myself and to prove my talent, I've won every "Berkmar" Idol during my attendance at Berkmar High School. Along with those trophies, I hold best soloist during competition in Orlando's Festival Competition. Other awards follow, but I rather not brag. I have an older sister, Natiya Wilson, and a younger brother, Christian Taylor. I was the baby for 15 years of my life, although that has changed from Christian's birth, my mother, Roshana Taylor, still calls me baby girl. In every social relationship I have, people considered me "the baby". I am "the baby" because I am usually the youngest, and others feel the need to watch over me my whole life. Most teens would rebel because of this; however, it makes me want to be the goodie-two-shoes I am. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" (Eleanor Roosevelt) has always been my quote of life. The quote expresses how I plan on being successful in life.
