There are three ways that Wikipedia articles can be deleted.
1. 'speedy deletion' - for total shite. e.g. "I LIKE CHEESE!" and "Kyle is a bastard" - no discussion needed.
2. "Proposed deletion" - someone says "I don't think we should have this". 7 days; anyone can remove it. If nobody remoes it, it gets deleted
- anyone can remove it* - without even saying why
3. AfD - Articles for deletion; 7 day discussion, people say "keep", or "delete", or "merge", or whatever... and give reasons; >7 days, an admin evaluates the 'consensus'
