I'm very interested in chess history and wish to improve the quality of a lot of articles on this site, particularly those covering classic players and tournaments. In terms of strength, I'm a USCF-rated expert and have also worked as a chess coach in the past. I've noticed a great deal of bias and POV on articles dealing with chess biographies, especially those of much older, classic players. (And it's generally more prevalent the LESS notable they were!) This makes a lot of sense, since the people writing these bios probably tend to be fan of these players. However, in many instances, the adulation goes way too far.
