Hitoshi Nimura (二村ヒトシ, Nimura Hitoshi) is a Japanese adult video (AV) actor and director who has directed more than 250 videos,[1] many while working for the Dogma studio.[2]
Life and career edit
Nimura was born in the Roppongi district of Tokyo, Japan in 1964.[3] He studied at Keio University in the Faculty of Letters but dropped out before graduating.[3]
Actor / Director edit
Nimura entered the AV industry in 1987 as an actor[4] and, according to AV pioneer Tadashi Yoyogi, an early mentor was AV director Toru Muranishi.[5] Nimura also appeared as an actor in non-AV roles as well, including the 1994 Chō-yōma densetsu Uratsuki-dōji: Makai gakuen-hen (also known as ExorSister 1), the first in the horror series directed by Takao Nakano and starring Bang Ippongi.[6] In 1999 he was in the softcore erotic film Jo kyōshi chikan chōkyō (女教師痴漢調教) with AV Idol Hitomi Kobayashi.[7]
By 2002, he was an established adult video director with Dogma,[2][8][9] where he directed a number of series including the "Hermaphrodite" or "Futunari" series.[3][10] At the 1st D-1 Climax Awards held in 2005 by the Dogma studio, Nimura took second place in the Director's Grand Prix Award for The Most Naughty Thing In This World (この世で、いちばんエロいコト。ダブル痴女の濃厚接吻セックス&ふたなりレズ).[11][12][13] Nimura was also an entrant in the 2nd D-1 Climax Awards held in 2006 where he placed third in the Director's Grand Prix Award with his work Hermaphrodite - Lesbian Climax (ふたなりレズビアンCLIMAX 立花里子×大塚ひな)..[11][12][14] In the third and last D-1 Climax Awards in 2007, Nimura was awarded the First Place Director's Grand Prix Award for Why Pussy Loves Pussy - Lesbian School Girls Addicted To Orgasm.[15][16]
Nimura started making videos for companies other than Dogma in 2008, including the S1 No. 1 Style and Moodyz studios, and he worked only sporadically for Dogma after that time.[2][9] In 2011, Nimura started directing for MOTHERS ENTERTAINMENT PICTURES,[9] an AV studio specializing in fetish videos, which he founded.[17]
