Hi! I'm Caywinter.

I'm 24, and my primary interest area is linguistics. Prior to creating this account, most of my activity on Wikipedia was correcting bad IPA (the transcription system, not the beer. the beer is beyond saving). This is likely to continue, though now I have an account I’ll probably also take part in some low-level tagging and cleanup.

I am not the same person as the German-language author Cay Winter who came up when I Googled "caywinter", nor is Cay Winter my real name (and besides, it’s supposed to be one word).

I will neither confirm nor deny any allegations that this account was created at their behest for them to engage in such graffiti.

The same is true of anyone with or without the name MegChestnut. I do not know anyone with that name but if I did their contributions to my talk page would be entirely out of my control. I am not allowed to make jokes about my legal team being in contact here, but if I could they would be funny.
