Plain Elementary School

editPlain Elementary School located on 506 Neely Ferry Road in Simpsonville, South Carolina educated over 950 students ranging from K5-5th grade. Currently, Debbie Milhalic is the principal of the school followed by assistant principal Cynthia Williams and administrative principal Angie Lewis. The schools extracurricular subjects, art, music, physical education, computer, movement, and are run by 7 different teachers pleasing the amazing students at Plain Elementary.
Extracurriculars
editOffered at Plain Elementary School, there are 7 extracurricular teachers who teach many diverse subjects. In art, Carol Ann Good and Ronda Smith give students a creative passion to paint beautiful and draw amazing drawings. In music, Kaitlyn Stevenson and Brandy Duncan let students create and play awesome music using instruments and also learning the beauty of music. The physical education sector which is teached by Debra Bentrem has students do many fun things while also training their bodies physically. Computer Lab at Plain Elementary is ran by Ginny Dixon whom educates students on the various functions of a computer device. Movement which is teached by Leslie Lee trains the bodies of students to be stronger than ever before.
Debbie Milhalic
editDebbie Milhalic, principal of Plain Elementary School has been an educator for 37 years. Debbie has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master or arts degree from Furman University. She moved to South Carolina in 1988 and became an educator. She taught grades two from five for fourteen years at Plain and became assistant principal in the year 2001. In 2008, Debbie Milhalic became principal of Plain Elementary School.
