This is a list of the Commandants of the Marine Corps in order of longevity. There are currently thirty-three Commandants on the list and eight living Commandants. The list is in descending order and is correct as of July 13, 2024. The oldest Commandant is Wallace M. Greene (1907 - 2003), who died at the age of 95 years, 71 days. The oldest living Commandant is Alfred M. Gray. He is currently 96 years, 21 days old and has held the title of oldest living Commandant since October 30, 2008.

To account for the different number of leap days within the life of each Commandant, two measures of longevity are given. The first is the number of whole years the Commandant lived, and the number of days past their last birthday. The second lists the total number of days lived by the Commandant.
