Usage
- To be used for welcoming users where there is an established COI (for example, a previous username request was declined due to it being promotional. Or, where the the username plus the IP address location or email address, may indicate that the account will be used for promotion, but there is not the evidence to decline per the UPolicy.
Parameters
- Parameter 1 is the reason for the warning, it defaults to Your username and email address (which is not revealed publicly):
{{User:Callanecc/Template/W-possible-COI|reason=}} - Parameter 2 is the specific (and/or more general) area or areas in which the user may have a conflict of interest (for example, Propel Consult and human resources topics in general):

Both parameters need to be checked before the template is placed on the user's talk page to ensure that it is correct.
Example
If the requesting user's comment on their account request may indicate that they have a conflict of interest regarding a company called Propel Consult and human resources topics in general, but it isn't enough to decline the request user {{subst:User:Callanecc/Template/W-possible-COI|reason=The comment you made on your account creation request|area=Propel Consult and human resources topics in general}} which will produce (in normal size):
