By_ItsHistory is my tagline.

My name is Rebecca Farley Dodson. I live in Brentwood, TN just south of Nashville.

My favorite research sources are online historical newspapers databases such as Proquest Historical Newspapers, Newspapers.com, GenealogyBank.com and the U. S. Library of Congress' Chronicling America. My interest in discovering the past began with a book I purchased years ago titled THE WOMAN'S BIBLE, PART I (1895) AND II (1898), combined into one volume, chief editor, Elizabeth Cady Stanton that I sold on eBay in 2000 for an astonishingly high price of $12,000! With that one sale, I was immediately bitten by the history bug! I had to know more: why was that WOMAN's BIBLE so valuable and who was ELIZABETH CADY STANTON? Thus, my search of people, places and events of the past began.

In April 2023, after years of extensively researching the Woman's Bible, I composed and added a Section to

Wikipedia: The Woman's Bible titled "1920: The Woman's Bible and the 19th Amendment" including photos of my acquired 1st edition Woman's Bible - Part I, and its Revising Committee, pg7 and a 1920s Woman's BIble broadside

as the discourse and historical events surrounding that 1st edition 1895 book, leading up to the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment, were tremendously exciting, important, and seeming unknown. Enjoy!
