Meaning from the noise has been my rallying cry. As a journalist, I covered stories around the world trying to bring light to places that didn't get much attention. Now on the technology side of things, I like to think about the systems for how the Internet can help give people reliable information so they can make informed decisions as citizens of democracy. Wikipedia is one of the key pillars for where people and platforms get their source of truth, so my journey has brought me here to learn more about Wikipedia and think about how my journalistic background is relevant to the work of an editor.

While I worked at the AP and know AP style, now I'll learn Wikipedia:Manual of Style.
