Joshua Dag Heward-Mills is the lead pastor of the First Love Church headquartered in Accra, Ghana.[1]
Joshua Dag Heward-Mills was born on November 4, 1991 to Dag Heward-Mills and Adelaide Heward-Mills. His father, Dag Heward-Mills, founded the First Love Church as a campus-based ministry on the University of Ghana, Legon campus in 2012.
He graduated from Achimota School in 2009 and earned a First Class Honours degree in law from the University of Nottingham in 2013. Called to the Bar of England and Wales, he is also a member of Lincoln’s Inn.
In 2013, he was appointed a volunteer pastor and established several branches of the church in London and Belgium. In 2015, a spiritual calling led Joshua to dedicate his entire life to God. Consequently, he resigned from his position as a compliance officer at the HSBC headquarters and relocated to Accra, Ghana, assuming a role at the headquarters of the First Love Church.
He started a branch of the First Love Church in East Legon, Accra which later became the site for the main site of the church, the First Love Center.[1]
Joshua is married to Dr. Kiki Priscilla Heward-Mills.[2]
