Benjamin Stonawski edit

Hi, I'm a young user of Wikipedia. I was born on April 12th, 2006. I'm mostly active in Hungarian Wikipedia.

About myself edit

I was born in Mátészalka, Hungary.

I started to learn English in pre-school, but I started to deal with it more seriously in early 2019 because I realized that school can't help me in learning it. So I started to follow English communities on the Internet, and I am taking English lessons on my own and English is my favorite language. It's not perfect though I sometimes make some mistakes, so I can't contribute with a fluent level of English. It's just intermediate.

I like Information Technology a lot.

When I was 4 my dad allowed to play games on his PC which was running Windows 95. After a week, dad updated the PC to Windows XP, and I grew up on WinXP, I was using it for more than 5 years. In 2014, my dad gave his old laptop to me, and that was the time when I changed to Windows 7. This laptop was an ASUS K50C. It wasn't famous for its speediness. In late 2014, my dad gave me his previous laptop, it was a Lenovo G580 13" 2013. In March 2019 I've become a Windows 10 Beta Tester, and I got the complete system one month before, in June 2015. In December 2017, I got an Intel DDR3 PC, and it exploded in March 2018 (yes, fans were not plugged in, and it wasn't me who built it.). On June 2018, I got an AMD DDR4 PC, and now, I was the man who built it, because I couldn't trust anyone with PC building anymore.

After 6 months of thinking about what to use I decided to use macOS, so I have a Hackintosh right now.

I tried to switch to Linux, but I couldn't, because a lot of applications are not available for it, so I can't. I like GNOME's interface more than Windows' interface.

started to get acquainted with phones when I was three, that was the time when I broke my mom's Motorola phone. After a year, I inherited my dad's phone. It was a Motorola phone as well, but I lost it somewhere. So I left the "phone-topic" for a while, and in 2014, my mom gave me her LG phone, which wasn't a smartphone. I got my first smartphone in 2015. It was an Alcatel OneTouch Smart Mini, it was running Android. In 2016, I got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini, and after 4 months, I started to hate Android, because it was slower and slower. So in June 2017, I got an iPhone 6s. I started to enjoy using iOS, so in June 2019 I decided to buy an iPhone X. I'm still using it to this day as well.

Another thing happened in June 2019, my friend, Domokos, and I created an IT group with the name "Peaches Technology", and we started to work on a Linux distro, named "HoleOS." The first version of HoleOS was released on February 9th, 2020, but at that time, we had a new member, Victor, who is from the USA. Today, HoleOS has got 3 releases, and Peaches has eight members.

I have some little careers.

So firstly, I have a music career. I started making music in July 2019 with an album. I mostly drop EPs. I have just two albums. I'm not really famous, I have around 100 listeners around the globe.

But the biggest thing which I'm making YouTube videos. I have 5,180 subscribers and 1.5 million views on YouTube. I got kinda "famous" in 2019 with the series "Types of Mappers." After like 6 months, I didn't continue it because I didn't have any ideas, but I have ideas now, so I won't stop making more episodes.

I love cats. I have a cat called "Cilu", and I had a lot of cats before but they either escaped from our garden or either died sadly.

I started to listen to music when I downloaded Spotify, and after 3 months, I started to pay monthly for the Premium features. I found my favorite artist there called "Lemaitre." I mostly listen to electronic music, but I like old-school rap, too, I like Hungarian artists, my favorite one is Krúbi.

I can play on two instruments, on the piano (5th level) and on bass (guitar, but guitar is forbidden) (1st level). I started to play piano in 2014, and I started to play bass in early 2020.

I am rather taking my part from English communities than Hungarian ones. I don't watch Hungarian YouTubers, just like 5 or something, I rather watch English and Polish YouTubers.

My history in Wikipedia was starting in 2010 when I tried to "write something" about my favorite cartoon, but I couldn't even write normally, I was just 4. Suddenly, I found this page, and I laughed a lot :'D (https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Szerkeszt%C5%91:Benjamin_Stonawski/Droopy_a_mesterdetektív). After that, in 2015, I've created the Hungarian page of ASUS, and then, I edited a bunch of pages from another account, but I forgot its password sadly, so I started a new account (hi.)

What's my goal in life? edit

Well, this question can be a hard one for some people but not for me. I know what I want to do in the future. Firstly, I want to move from Hungary to the USA and maybe to Los Angeles. And there, I want to make a company out from my IT group, Peaches Technology, and it will be called "Peaches Technology Inc.". We want to create hardware and software for technology lovers because we love technology as well.

I want to make a musical band, called C**M**** (it's a secret.) It will be about electronic and indietronic music. I would like to be the bass player, sometimes the keyboard player and I would like to write the lyrics as well.

I would like to continue my solo musical career project "Benjike."
