I'm relatively new here and gradually finding my feet. Looks like the school of hard knocks.
I like all things wierd and wonderful (The Lord God made them all).
I don't think technical and scientific articles should be the sole preserve of academic elites. That is unfortunately the case, because only they have access to reference material. Stuff ought to be judged on merit and if, on closer examination, it can be seen to exist or to be true.
I see the world going down the drain:
Climate crisis,
Growing influence of despotic dictators,
Growing dependence on despotic dictators for energy and manufacturing,
People who want to return to the Stone Age
Social media and fake news
Smombies everywhere...
