Sidharth Das (born July 16, 1992) is the Founder and CEO of social media hub Brogels.Brogels is one of the rising social media blogs that features the trends and happenings of Social Media and Digital Trends. Sidharth, an undergraduate in KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar with major in Mechanical Engineering founded the blog from his college library on November 2012.Before he started Brogels, he founded another non-profit website Makefame.org to showcase the talents of young achievers.He is an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.
Early life edit
Sidharth was born and brought up in Bhubaneshwar and is the only child of his parents. His father is a service holder and a millionaire real estate businessman and his mother works as a principal in a Government run Institution. Sidharth completed his schooling in MVM Public School in Nayagarh, a small town near Bhubaneshwar and moved to capital for his senior secondary and graduation. From his school days, he was fascinated about computers and wonders of internet. He used to sit hours in front of his PC collecting information of new gadgets and trends that has been a source of inspiration to him to start something big. And at the age of 20, he founded Brogels with his college friends Sourav Suman,Ankit Tripathy,Kishan Mishra,Pratik Pattnaik, upratik Roy and Swagat Das.

When Sidharth, founded Brogels it was only a news blog, but with the course of time the company has added various feathers into its venture.On June 2, 2013 Brogels was integrated with a social networking platform allowing you to connect with your friends, family and lovedones.It also allows you to create your profile, groups and forums and share your ideas, Check Ins with your connected friends in your circle.Apart from social networking on the same day the site was also integrated with an E-store to buy cool gifts. It made Brogels, a one stop shop for internet users. Brogels was made an incubate in KIIT-TBI on January 1, 2013. Brogels has seen many up and downs like every company. On 24th February,Sidharth completely lost Brogels database from the host because of some internal matters that has not been disclosed yet. But later gained the whole access and running the company smoothly.
Achievements edit
- Awarded Best Student Entrepreneur for his idea on Android based App called V-cop. It allows users to send F.I.R to police database on the go.
- Founded Makefame.org to showcase the achievements of young achievers. It was a non-profit website.
- Made Brogels featured in Yourstory, India's biggest portal for entrepreneur.
