Hi Wikipedia world,

I'm a PhD student using molecular biology to study the reproductive biology, endocrinology and genetics of the giant grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus).

I've spent a lot of time studying a very small field of research in great depth which means I know a lot about not very much, and I find it fascinating. What I love about Wikipedia is that it brings millions of people with great knowledge about their special topic together. There is a Richard Feynman quote that strikes a chord with me.

“Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it doesn't matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough.”

To me, in light of this, the true value of Wikipedia is that all the knowledge of each contributor's special topic can be explored at depths to intrigue and inspire anyone around the globe. I hope I'll be able to contribute to aid in developing someone else's interest and enjoyment in the pursuit of knowledge in a new topic.
